I'd have to think they plan on trying to top the nuke...

...personally, I'd like to see something like the MOAB...maybe not make it a game ender, but it does something to the effect of killing everyone on a quarter of the map or something absurd like that...

I'm torn on this...I just popped in World at War so I'm reminded of how terrible that campaign was, but then I see a video like this and it Treyarch is actually innovating this time around instead of putting a fresh coat of paint on the same multiplayer we got from Infinity Ward...

I know I've mentioned that theatre mode before...that's good stuff...wager matches and currency? I can dig it.

Lack of weapon customization was one of the big drawbacks for me in MW2, so it's nice to see that there will be more of that in this game, and I also like the training camp thing as I'm usually hesitant of joining game modes which I haven't played before, so being able to know what I have to do before I start will be huge for me...

Immessedup, you best be getting this for the PC...

No...if (big fucking IF) I buy this game, it will be for 360...

...we'll see how Reach is...if it's on par or better with Halo 3, I'll still be playing it every day well into next year...

I literally play 2 games on PS3 these days (NFL and NHL), but this has peaked my interest. Call of Duty was my favorite series, so I'm thinking about getting back into it.

It depends on my friends if I purchase this...I could see it happening. After all, no fun playing MW2 and SC2 by myself if they are all playing Black Ops. And it would be PC. I play no FPS games on console, ever.

I'm shocked...

...I figured after the "Treyarch blows" line earlier in the thread that there was no chance you were going to be purchasing this...

After playing about 30 days worth of multi player game time on the first modern warfare, the next 2 were basically worthless. I played about 5 minutes of WaW multiplayer and I played the multiplayer on MW2 the first night I bought the game (the day it was released) and none since.
It's essentially the same thing. Sure there's different maps, some new killstreaks blah blah blah. But nothing different enough to give me a new experience and make me want to play from Friday night to Monday morning.
Maybe this one will be different, but I'll probably be targeting the next Assassin's Creed game before I give this one a try.

I dunno...

I would propose that MW2 was vastly improved over MW in terms of multiplayer.

It was...but, the "fun" of COD4 wasn't nearly as much as MW2. make sense?

I kinda hated killstreaks and the mad dashing knifers... I also liked the maps better in COD4.

If you are saying that MW2 is more "fun" than COD4, then I agree.

Not exactly...They were both fun, but I enjoyed COD4 a lot more since it was "new" to me.
I played it a lot more than MW2, "met" many of you off the board via headsets, etc...
COD4 was more "fun" for me.
