I bought the Orange Box off of steam yesterday, and that should keep me occupied for the next few weeks, haven't even played Half Life 2, or the other games yet, that Portal game is keeping me entertained like nothing else... nice little package for $29

I thought the Force Unleashed was horrible. Interesting technology, but god awful boring to play. And that pains me to say, because I love me some Star Wars.

I didn't find it boring, but I was frustrated with some of the control issues. If said issues aren't better, #2 will suck.

CoD Black Ops is in the mail for me, set to arrive Tuesday.

I ended up selling Halo: Reach. No time to dedicate to that game, and I was a mediocre fan of the series at best. Plus, the lack of killstreak perks kind of killed MP for me.

NBA2K11 is still blowing my mind.

The number of XBox LIVE friends tht are also purchasing it should at least make it worthwhile for a bit.

Screw that game. I'm not Japanese enough to play GT5.

Still playing Reach every day...the rank cap got lifted so there's new ranks and armor to unlock...I can see myself being occupied with that for a while yet, but I am strongly considering picking up a Kinect...why, I'm not exactly sure...

That would require movement.

Took the plunge and picked up the last Kinect they had a Walmart tonight...

...Kinect Adventures, the game included, is pretty meh...that Rallyball or whatever they call it is fun, but I don't see it being that way for very long...

...there's a demo for some games on the disc, one of which is Dance Central...that's a thing...you actually have to do some practice before you go into the song or you will fail pretty badly...the game does a really good job of letting you know what you are doing right and wrong with on screen indicators...

...the voice commands have mostly worked as advertised thus far, although I haven't been able to figure out how to puase/stop/play a video using them yet...now I just need someone else to get it to try out the video Kinect thing...

...oh, and the ability to use the Kinect's mic for in game chat is awesome...no more microphone/headseat shit...

Ok so this has been a expensive time for me buying videogames recently. Since August I have bought Madden 11, NHL 11, Halo Reach(ill be returning that soon) Raw vs Smackdown, NBA 2k11, The Kinect system with 2 games (Dance Central and Kinect Sports) and Ill be getting COD on Tuesday. No more games for the rest of the year.

As for Kinect I think it has legs for me at least. We bought Rockband 2 a few years ago and I remember my wife saying that she thought it was a foolish investment and than a week later we had friends over and played that damn game for 6 hours one night. Kinect is kinda the same thing. A few of our friends and family have actually said that they have seen comericals for the dancing game and said it looks fun(it is).

I feel that if I buy Kinect then I make the Wii in my household completely obsolete as opposed to merely neglected right now.

I just got done trying to do "Poison" on easy in Dance Central...after learning the first set of moves, I gave up...I'm about ready to pass out...what a fucking workout...

Actually, the game records you during the freestyle part of the song and plays it back for you...not sure if there's a way to pull that from the game and post it...

Is this out yet? If so, anyone try it?

Picked up Dance Central and Kinectimals

It came out last week I believe...review looked solid...

I'm trying to convince a friend of mine to buy it, as I don't see myself playing it outside of a group of friends getting together, and I don't feel like shelling out the cash for a game like that...

I didn't even know Assassins Creed was already out, this is one hell of a gaming season. Gamespot gave it a 8.5/10, not too bad considering its only been a year. I might actually pick this up this weekend.
