I bought the RBI Baseball released last year. It was absolutely terrible. Like maybe the worst sports game I have ever purchased in my life. I can't imagine it being much better this year.

You need to find something better to do with your time in the summer.

Just went to the RBI 15 website. Those graphics are terrible.

MLB the Show is like art in videogame form. Especially compared to RBI 15.

this is almost an apples to oranges comparison here. One is a simulation the other is arcade style.

i have a ps vita so i might pickup the show on that this year since its only $20 on the vita.

They should have just released RBI Baseball with the classic graphics, but with current rosters. Add in some gameplay features like a real season mode, and keeping track of your stats, and you have a great game.

RBI Baseball from last year didn't even have the full rosters, and no stat tracking whatsoever. And yes, the graphics were awful too.

The article I read seemed to indicate they were going away from the arcade style. 25 man rosters, stats being kept etc. I figured they were tying to be a viable alternative to the SHOW

The graphics dont look too bad to me.

Guess Ill stick with The Show

I wish they'd release it earlier. Madden comes out in August for a reason. Release The Show in FEB

The AI for your team was also absolutely frustrating. There would be a grounder to 2nd that the second baseman should have easily handled, but instead the computer chooses the first baseman to field the grounder. The result would be a lazy single to right field. I played about 3 games total before never touching this again, and this happened about 5 times.

Never even tried it. MLB The Show is good stuff, and 15 introduces Year-to-Year save transfers. Eric Winkelsauce will now be able to have a career longer than 4 seasons.

Well they "introduced" the save thing last year. You just had to wait to this year to actually do it obviously.

You are technically accurate. And yet, I feel like my post makes sense.

Well the Show comes out March 31, on the RBI game, the demo comes out, that may have to sell people, if it looks like a real game, right now the alternative for X-box people, but could be one they actually want

I'm still going strong with 14. May wait until a mid summer sale to grab 15.

I will say I'm getting a bit suspicious about Diamond Dynasty getting the most attention going forward. It's not bad this year, but it wouldn't surprise me when they see the goldmine EA's Ultimate Teams are in FIFA Madden and NHL, with people buying hundreds of $$$ in packs that they skimp on RTTS and Franchise mode. 2K got a little worse with the packs this year but the core was solid.

I got the game too, my question is there a way when ur at bat, to change the outfield view, when I hit it out there, can't tell what is going to happen, takes a couple seconds to know, like make the view when ur team is in the field.

that game has a setting for pretty much everything, including camera viewpoints for pitching and batting (I strongly prefer pitching using the TV style CF cam)

On the PS4 version, was Wrigley updated at all with the new jumbotron and signage or no?

(I doubt the PS3 version would have been updated.)

Does it also show the bathroom lines???

When you tee it up like this, it has to be hit...

Bah.

In four years, the bathrooms will be exquisite. Bidets for days.

The jumbotrons aren't there. Not surprising as I'm sure they weren't up during development and so they wouldn't bother.
