Sounds like Witcher 3 has the most votes so far, followed by Skyrim and something from the FF series.

I also wanted to like Fallout (I started on 3) but for whatever reason hated the storyline, V.A.T.S. system, enemies you had to fight, and eventually everything else about the game. I've heard New Vegas and 4 are phenomenal games, but it just seems like more of the same.

I tried Oblivion a few years back and stuck with it for awhile, but there was a point when I could not care less about moving forward in the storyline. I understand Skyrim to be even longer of a game, which for a guy who only has a couple hours a week to devote to a game makes it seem pointless to get immersed in.

I'm going to say if you are only throwing a couple hours a week at it, any RPG worth it's salt is going to be a really grueling endeavor.
