Do you always have to pay off your bounties or do they go away eventually on their own? I turned the game on last night expecting to find a huge bounty still in place and was surprised to see that I had no bounty on my head anymore. So I went out to the desert and shot a fool to celebrate. Didn't get a bounty for that either.

If you kill people out in the wilderness and no one is around do you get wanted for that or can you get away with it since there are no witnesses. Basically my favorite part of the game so far is killing innocent people, looting their corpses and then skull fucking them.

Here's a tip for you, shakes. Now that you killed the old guy, there is now an old lady in a cabin with no husband that will probably give it up for some flowers...

Yeah, it's that lady, although she'll give it up for nothing too. I think I shot her a few times to see if it would damage her any more, but it didn't.

One thing I am having trouble doing well is when some guy runs up to you on the road and asks you to help him save his wife I never get there in time. The last time I did get there in time and managed to kill the guys but the lady died anyway. So I shot her husband since I figured he wanted to be with his wife.


Any tips for getting this done right?

It was a really expensive horse so i figured it was better than the horses I was using so I bought it. For all I know its even worse than the horse I already own.

There are three really fast horses...pretty sure you can't buy them until you've broken them, so yeah, you probably paid for a downgrade...

So I just got to Mexico. I think I like this game, but I'm not quite sure. The combat is either too easy or too hard. If you use the auto target its way too easy, but if you try aiming on your own it gets way too hard.


Question, will I be going back to the first area of the game later on or am I done with that now that I'm in Mexico? There are still lots of gang hideouts that I never routed because every time I went by them it said it was abandoned. Will I be going back there later to take care of that or should I go back now and try to find one that is populated?

Got this about a week or so ago and played a few hours. It's ok I guess. I didn't really read a review in depth for this until after I played it so I honestly didn't even notice it was a Rockstar game. As soon as I opened the case I was like "oh, this is just like GTA" (the map and poster thing)... then I started the game and watched the intro "hmm, this reminds me of GTA"... before I even started actually playing the game, I knew what I had, "GTA on horses". I don't have a problem with that, but I should've read some reviews. Or any review for that matter, since every one of them stresses that this game is NOT GTA on horseback. Um, yeah it is. Maybe it's more fun, less fun... whatever, but it IS GTA in 1900. Seems like it could still be a fun game but i'm a little disappointed. Either way it'll have to wait when my AC-brotherhood comes in the mail, which should be any day now.

Oh, as for your question...pretty sure it's just multiplayer gambling...

kinda gave up on this one. Haven't played it in a few weeks. The side quests are too repetitive, way too much horse time, and the combat is either way too easy when you use the assisted aim or way too hard when you try to go it without. I might go back and give it another shot, but for now I've moved on to Torchlight and Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.
