PlayStation Vita...mild applause...yeah, that name sucks...

WiFi and 3G...front and rear cameras...front and rear touchpads...touchscreen...

AT&T exclusive carrier for Playstation Vita...alright, guess I'm not going to be using the 3G at all...

ModNation Racers for the VITA...

Touch and drag to create a track...that was rediculously quick...

Nice use of the touchscreen and touchpanels to create elevation...

Mods created for PS3 version will be available for PSVita version...nice use of cross platform ability there...

Did he just say we are very proud to show the crap?

250 for the WiFi version? 300 for the 3G version? Nice.

Personally I don't care, but I'm guessing a certain someone will find the lack of "The Last Guardian" at the presser a bit troubling...

All in all, meh...which is still better than what Microsoft did today...

Wow...Microsoft and Sony got beat by Ubisoft...this was a waste of time...

All they have to do is walk on stage with a Wii HD, set it on a table, and watch everyone throw cash at 'em

They could spend thirty minutes on the vitality sensor and it would still be better...

...Miyamoto could sing showtunes and it would be better...

...a couple guys dressed up in Mario and Luigi garb could film a gay porn film and it would be...well, let's not get carried away...

I dont know, it was perfect as it was. Although a remake would likely get me back playing video games for a while.

I caught most of the Assassin's Creed and Ghost Recon previews. Kinda disappointed that AC is once again just the same game. Sure the graphics were already great and all. But come on, do something other than just lengthening the story. Make the great graphics even greater... how about make the fighting more interesting somehow. How? How should I know, but I'm not very impressed. I have this game already... twice. Just make it DLC if there's no real changes.
Ghost Recon looks like it could be pretty fun. Fast moving, co op stuff. I'll need a new shooter game when I mothball Black Ops. Probably won't be this one but I'll give it a look when I'm in the market.

If the Assassin's Creed demo would have featured...gasp...some assassination action, I may have been tempted to give it a shot, but it seems like they are content with being just another button mashing action adventure game...which, while there isn't anything wrong with that, is such a waste of what was a great concept...

As for a FFVII remake, I can't believe we haven't seen that...I remember the tech demo they did when the PS3 was being hyped and it looked amazing...a remake would make serious bank, and you can't tell me SquareEnix doesn't have a team that they could put on the task...

Well it wasn't announced yesterday, so I don't think it will be. Unless it is super secret.

But I mean...they got a lot on their plate... FF Type-0, FFXIII-2, FFXIII Versus...I can see how their teams would be all tied up. Maybe after FFXIII-2 that team would begin a FFVII remake to close out the PS3 era.

Don't they have something like 10 teams? I seem to remember reading something crazy like that at one time or another...

EDIT: sorry to bump such an old thread!

My kids and I downloaded this. We don't have kinect, but loving this game. Addicting is an understatement. I'll play at night and leave things in their "houses". My wife called me at work today and said the kids ran up the stairs yelling "Dad left us Torches!!!!!!" She was understandably confused.

I don't think Square is ever going to remake FFVII. They give some bs "technical"/"time consuming" reason, but I think that the only games they are interested in remaking are ones that involve little effort (ie FF1-5). After that, they all became too "epic" and any remake would have to be spectacular.
