I had this problem when I moved as well. All I did was go to the web-based PSN instead of trying to do it on the PS3, and it worked.

I have heard some pretty bad reviews/opinions on PSN over the years, so this really doesn't come as a surprise to me.

In other news, XBox live just gave me a blowjob. And then forwarded 8 $1 deposits into my checking account. How nice!

A $10 card for 15 bucks? That's.....something.

I caved, and bought a digital $10 PSN card I found online at Gamecards.com. It cost $14.95 but still better than $20...and it gets delivered via email so that's nice.

15 bucks for a 10 dollar card?

No wonder they won't let you use your credit card...

No wonder you had such bad thoughts on the GM IPO.

All game cards purchased "digitally" cost more. The $5 is for the gamecards.com employee to grab the card, email me the code, then cut up the card.

The cheapest card I can find in person is $20, and I don't want to spend $20. Target.com, bestbuy.com, and newegg don't have the PSN cards in $10 demoninations either. (Plus I'd have to pay shipping.)

Not sure you would find it weird that it costs more than the dollar value on the card.
You should have just paid for it with a credit card through the PSN.

Really?

The only time I've ever paid more for a gift card than the dollar amount it was valued for was one of those Visa gift cards, which made sense to me as there are processing fees that need to be taken into account.

But paying for someone else to read the code off a card and e-mail it to me? Yeah, I think I would have just shelled out the extra money and actually got the dollar amount I paid for.

Umm...Lipid...buddy...I couldn't find a place where I could find a $10 card cheaper...the only physical $10 cards I could find were online...and I had to pay shipping...Retail stores only carried $20.00...It doesn't matter if I bought it for $15.00, or $20.00, or $50.00...I'm only using $10.00. I don't buy stuff off of PSN usually.

Well, actually it would matter if you bought it for 20, because then you would have been absolutely out of your mind...

It's just payback for years of Playstation neglect.
