Hi. I'm Killer V and I just bought a Wii and I need your help. Which games are good out there? Which games should I never, ever play? Any recommendations for kid's games?

Endless Oceans?

Lego Star Wars?

Thank you most sincerely for your expertise.

I've very limited experience with the Wii, but here are my thoughts...

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is great fun...supports four people and it will certainly bring back memories of the old school side scrolling Mario games...

Wii Sports Resort is good stuff...if you enjoy the Wii Sports that came with the Wii, you will like Resort...

Super Mario Galaxy is pretty good...think Super Mario 64 with better graphics and some added Wii Remote functionality...

I agree with all of lipid's suggestions. Also, if you are going to play some of
the games you may enjoy Tiger Woods Golf.

The Legend of Zelda game is probably the best I have played from a gamer's standpoint, but probably not very easy for the kids.

I agree with Mario Kart and the New Super Mario Bros. game, plus Paper Mario and Mario Galaxy (the sequel is coming soon, as well).

If you are looking for a completely goofy game, Wario's World is insane.

I would recommend staying away from any first-person shooter. While Metroid seems like a good idea, it is terrible with gameplay. The Wii-remote simply is not made for FPS. Even with the new motion thingy.

Do not buy most sports games from EA for the Wii. All of them are terrible and usually "cartoon-ized". For example, anything that says "All Play" is going to suck.

My kids are hooked on MarioKart, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

So which shooters would be recommended (regardless of the goofy interface)?

Can't believe I forgot about Mario Kart...that games pretty fun...I prefer using the classic controller over the remote/wheel thing, but either way it's a good time...

No idea about shooters...I believe they redid the first two Metroid Primes and made a bundle with all three for the Wii...someone help me out here...

As for Zelda, I still haven't played it...

...and I'm very pissed that they released those black ones just a few months after I bought mine...everything else in my entertainment center is black, so the Wii sticks out pretty bad...

Sounds like when I go to Church's or Harold's.

I saw that.

I just want you to know.
