North American gamers will soon get to enjoy the entire upgraded NES Super Mario Bros. collection on the Wii, as Nintendo has confirmed a limited edition version of Super Mario All-Stars due on December 12.

The four-game limited-edition compilation due on December 12 for $30 will pack the SNES-enhanced versions of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3 onto a single Wii disc. In addition to the games, the collection will come with two bonus items in the form of a series soundtrack on CD and a 32-page booklet chronicling the franchise's early years.
The original versions of all four games are currently available on the Wii Virtual Console at $5 each, except for The Lost Levels, which sells for $6. Do you think the bonuses are worth the extra $9?
