Another EPIC game (EPIC as in the developer, not that it will be epic) called Bulletstorm. I don't know much about the game, but I'm told its schtick is that you get points to upgrade your weapon based on the creative ways you vanquish your enemies... not the volume of the enemies you kill. Looks like a cross between Gears of War and Bioshock. My first reaction is meh, but could be fun.

Hey Mud did you ever get around to playing Crackdown 2? Any kind of review? Once the price drops I might be interested in picking it up for a mid winter mindless fun type of game.

Oh yeah, I remember that one, I thought it was voiced by Tim Allen, which would have been awesome... I think I'm going to pick this one up...

Hated Crackdown 2. I'm all for mindless games, but this was taking that genre to an extreme. There was nothing but running around and shooting everything you see. I need some kind of motivation.

I liked the 1st one but it there wasn't much structure there. I can see where it could devolve into totally mindless running around with all of the mutants when I played the demo.

Never played either Crackdown. I looked at the videos and didn't really see anything particularly unique. I had heard that the game is repetitive. But then again so is playing Black Ops over and over and over again like I've been doing the last month!

Ah cool I thought I remembered you saying back awhile ago that you picked it up. My bad I think senility is starting to set in.

Odd, in the E3 thread a while back you were sure it was Allen and you said you just couldn't take the game seriously because of it...or something like that... :P
