So we have too dystopia apocalyptic futuristic big-ass gun toting first person shooters coming in 2011. There is no question which one I'm going for... Rage. I mean these are the guys (ID) that gave us some of the best first person shooters ever... Quake and Unreal tournament. Bulletstorm looks like a cheap first person knock-off of Borderlands and Gears. Screw the Gears 3 beta... if that's what you need to sell this junk then more power to you. Me? I'm boycotting until there some evidence that Cliffy B cares about a stable online multiplayer platform as much as he does about making blood splatter in the most glorious way possible. Credit to Bullletstorm to reward creative kills, but at the end of the day, I expect that the multiplayer will fall flat as most people care more about body count than style. Rage, on the other hand, looks like an exciting sandbox game that was awarded the E3 game of the show. Graphics are only the beginning. It may look like Fallout 3, but it promises to play more like a traditional FPS. Given ID's experience with multiplayer, I'd bet more on this multiplayer experience than Bulletstorm.

anyone pickin' up Bulletstorm next week?

Uh...Mud...

Played a little Bulletstorm last night. Some problems connecting to multiplayer (You hear me, Cliffy B? Get yer MP shite straight). Single player was surprisingly fun, but not compelling in any way. If you take it for what it is, it's not a bad rent.

Hows the camera? Does it jerk around alot or is it pretty steady like Borderlands. I have trouble with most FPS because the camera makes me nauseus, but was able to stomach Borderlands. Interested in picking up Bulletstorm.
