Had my first taste of it today....Gran Turismo 5 on a 52 inch Sony...

...initial impressions...meh....for starters, I find it very hard to notice the 3D effect while I'm driving (I'm so focused on a small portion of the screen, the road ahead, that it's not noticable, at least to me)...much more obvious in the menus...

...however, what is noticable is the smooth 60 FPS drops to what I would imagine is 30 FPS...the difference is quite noticable and I couldn't see myself suffering through it for very long...

....makes me wonder how big of a performance hit some of the other titles take when 3D is enabled.
