Tomorrow begins one of the craziest stretches of video games ever...two legit Game of the Year contenders, the game that will likely set more sales records, and a remake of one of the greatest games ever made.

November 1: Uncharted 3
November 8: Modern Warfare 3
November 11: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
November 15: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary

I am excite.

Elder scrolls and Halo would be buys for me if not for the first 2 games on the list. I remember playing Uncharted 2 and just being blown away by everything they did with that game and it only seems as if they have improved on it. As for MW3 I probably won't touch much of the single player(although I did finish the last MW2 single player) so Ill be spending quite a bit of time online with that one.

Big day for my wife as Lego: Harry Potter Years 4-7 comes out tomorrow I think. Wonder if I'm the only person who pre-ordered it at Gamestop.

I'm sure there are some teenage girls who did so, too. jk

I haven't played the HP Lego games, yet, but was the first as good as good as Batman and Star Wars?

But the game I'm really waiting for is Skyward Sword w/ the special edition gold wiimote.

As she's the expert, she'd rank the first 2 Start Wars (Original 3 and next 3) and Harry Potter at the top of the series, the 2 Indiana Jones and The Clone Wars: Star Wars in the middle, and Pirates of The Caribbean and Batman as bad.

wait they already rehashed NBA jam? dammit man, i dont think i've even played my xbox360 version of regular ole NBA jam, otherwise i'd be more than happy to serve your sorry ass.... cuz like, i havent played these new iterations to death, but growing up NBA jam was "my game"... on the NBA hangtime machine @ UIC there was "aphex" who was 73-0, as the legend stands... i loved flummoxing those motherfuckers who thought they had game.

what does "on fire edition" bring to the table and why should i mark out and buy it?

Great game! Loved the cartoonish accents by the characters... Got lots of eye rolls from the wife when I played, which of course gave me the idea to talk to her with a ridiculous accent too while I played. Great final mission also!

The "On Fire" Edition is for download only on PS3 and Xbox. It's only $15, so the investment isn't as bad as shelling out for a new game. As for the new stuff, there are more legends, and more unlockable teams (including the Seattle Supersonics). The 1 player modes are a little scaled back, but that was probably expected, given the low price for the game. As for graphics, it's pretty much identical to the version released last year, but they added some taunts you can do on shots (Granny shots, behind the back shots, etc..), and some taunts you can do while dribbling. Other than that, it's the same game, just with updated rosters.

Thus far Uncharted 3 is the goods...excellent cinematics, the melee combat seems to be improved, and the game is just gorgeous.

I'm still holding out hope that the rumors are false, and it is not in Los Santos... again...
