You have the best avatar on the site. I love the red x. It goes with anything. What is your favorite video game system? Is that your next thread?

It is. But as a kid it was alright. WCW was a better game.

I remember the announcers for Triple Play '98 and I would play for hours and laugh my ass off.

I played it. Honky Tonk Man was Shake, Rattle, and Rollin to the championship.

But the WCW games were better Nitro and Revenge were sweet.

I remember hours upon hours wasted in college playing NWO/WCW revenge. My god do I wish they had an internet connection hookup for the N64 as Im sure I would run out right now and buy it if they did. I loved that game.

That was so good.

I would rearrange the roster and play out fantasy bookings.

So much wasted time...

I remember renting it because my roommate in college was too cheap to buy it(he owned the 64) and we would have battle royal matches on Wed and Thursday nights til 2 or 3 am at least and than the guy that lived next to us would get off of his shift at the front desk and we would go smoke in his room and pass out. Have I said too much?

I've played a lot of sports video games since Nintendo, but I still say NBA2K12 for 360/PS3 is the best ever made.

2K11 would be my best, but I haven't played 12

Hockey-wise: NHL '99 was the goods, 09 would be a close second.

What's an NES? I heard my grandpa mention that one time.

Correct!

I was going to post this same one. All other video and tabletop football games pale by comparison.

The greatness of a game should be measured by the difference from those that came before it and what was available when it was out.

Therefore Mattel and Intel are winners

All of those were awesome. I had the baseball one, the racecar one and there was a mouse hunt one too.

I picked up NBA Jam Tournament Edition for Sega today for $.99 at the Disc Replay. Apparently every time I go to block a shot I get called for goal tending. Is there a way to turn off goal tending?

Great game. I remember when I got the game, I got a T-shirt w/ it.

I don't think you can shut off goal tending. Are you sure you're blocking the shot while it's going up?

I usually have a guy in the paint who is jumping up as the shot is going up.

easily the best playing sports game of all time and its not even close. Anyone suggesting an NHL, NBA or Madden game has obviously never experienced what a truly great sports sim can be. The AI and gameplay are out of this world compared to those other games and the career mode known as Masters League is the best career mode ever made for any game.

How does TSB III stack up against the NES version and the other two versions on Sega?
