Been playing all my favorite Nintendo games for the past week on this site. Eventually will move on to super nes games. I don't remember the graphics being this shitty when i was 12.

I feel the same way when I rock it old school and play games from yesteryear. I've been playing Super Mario RPG lately, and the game doesn't look as good as I thought it did. Still a great game, though.

Where would you rank it amongst Squaresoft rpgs? I think it could be top 10, but I'd have to give that list some thought.

You're probably right about it not being top 10 if you include the post merger games.

I thought it was a pretty cool game.

The graphics with emulators and online sites are somewhat different because of how a TV is different from a computer. I understand that people use them because buying all the games and getting a system is still expensive since everyone seems to think every original NES game is worth $20. I think the key to playing on your computer is to have a decent controller that mimics the controller you used before with the actual system. It's just not the same typing or using a crappy controller to play a game you had trained your hands to play with the original controller.

I know you didn't ask me but when I was rocking out emulators back in the day I always had good luck with the Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad...not sure if you can even find those anymore though...

The Xbox 360 controller actually works really good for certain applications too.

do you remember Nesticle? I found my old NES, SNES, and SEGA ROMS on discs from 2004 that still work.

Yeah. The thing is that many of them have gone un-updated for a long, long time. Although for an emulator I'm not sure if that matters much.

I have all of the above, I believe as well as some others to try out. Most of the emulation is actually pretty damn good, esp. the PS1.

I love being able play U.N Squadron whenever the hell I want to.

There is a old football one I have been trying to download or play again and always struggle to do it.

Is it a commodore64 game? You might find it on coolroms or emuparadise.

On an unrelated note, I've stared using FCEUX to play Famicom Disk games. I've got the Japanese SMB2 & All-Night Nippon SMB on it & it's so frickin' sweet.

Maybe off topic, but can you download old Nintendo games or any old games to your xbox 360, someone I work with said he did it with his Wii, just wondered if you could do it with Xbox.

Like could you download Tecmo SUper Bowl to play on Xbox 360
