I guess our DVR is turning off when ever my wife starts watching a recorded show. THere are no problems when she watches regular tv. I told her to unplug and leave off for a while but that did not work. Anyone ever have this happen before? I wont be home until later and it will probably end up being something simple.

Tell her she has no time to worry about the DVR as your supper is not going to fix itself.

Whenever my DVR starts crapping out on me I just reboot the whole machine and that usually fixes it.

Supper throws everything off for me...

There's a large population at work that refer to the meal you have in the middle of the day as dinner and the meal you have in the evening as supper.

I would recheck your recording options. Maybe something got hammered. Try deleting all your set recordings than adding them in again. Also,on Infinity,it usually shows why a show did not get recorded in the database.
