To make a long story short, I am looking to expand the storage of an old iPhone that I am using to play music in my car. It only has 16GB and I need more like 100GB. Rather than buy a higher-capacity model ($300 or more for a 128GB model), I happened to see one of these $40 devices:
https://www.amazon.com/RAVPower-Versati ... s=ravpowerIt apparently connects to your iPhone wirelessly, and through an app, allows you to essentially expand your iPhone's (virtual?) storage to whatever device you attach to it (let's say a 128GB flash drive that I already have). The goal would be to connect my 128GB flash drive to this "filehub," which would connect wirelessly to the iPhone 5 and allow it to see all the music on the flash drive, and play it as if it were actually on the iPhone.
Anyone have experience with these filehubs?
Thanks!
