Microsoft going to start offering an Xbox One SKU that doesn't include the Kinect at 399 MSRP.

Other things of note include that they are no longer going to require you to be a Gold member to watch Netflix and Hulu on Xbox, as well as including Xbox One into the Games for Gold promotion that they previously did for the 360.

Well, there's always hope that they'll achieve it at some point via cloud computing, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

But, putting on my Microsoft apologist hat...you still have your 360 to play 360 games...

Well, it's not going to RRoD...techinically...they removed that..."feature"...at the second generation...

...but they really do run a lot better...I have a couple from 2010 that are still going strong and a third one from 2012. I wouldn't be too worried about it going belly up any time soon.

Until it does RRoD...then wrap it in a towel.

1st is the S Model they released after E3 2010
2nd is the Halo: Reach edition console
3rd is the Halo 4 edition console

Two of them actually get pretty regular use, and the third is used every now and then.

Well why does anyone really need a lot of things?

In this case, I have three Xbox's because I wanted them. Two of them get regular use because one is in the living room, where I'll play games or watch HBO on it, while the second is in the bedroom, where we will both watch various streaming services on it.

The third is in the "man cave", but I don't usually need to go in there since I can usually play in the living room whenever i want.

Given how much you play games that makes sense. I thought you were gonna say something stupid like you bought the other ones cause they have a cool design on them and now they just sit there next to each other in the same room.
