Wow...Episode 1 was very impressive. I don't think any single episode from The Walking Dead game hit me in the feels quite as hard.

do you have to watch the show to make sense of this game? i really enjoyed the walking dead seasons 1,2... so may be interested in this unless you need to be familiar with show to enjoy it

I think the game itself stands on its own, but it would enhance the experience if you watched the show or read the books.

If you are interested to play the game, but are not interested in ever watching the show, there are HBO show recaps on Youtube.

But I HIGHLY recommend watching the show (and reading the books, though not everyone gets into books), just the same as I recommend this game.
