After going all of 2011 without having a single race winner, I will certainly enjoy having a dealbreaker again. Thanks to those who did not bump the pick, I am in your debt.

Who says it doesn't rain in Southern California? Just before rain cut short the AutoClub 400 at Fontana, CA, Tony Stewart's #14 Office Depot Chevy passed Kyle Busch's #18 Interstate Batteries TOYOTA on Lap 85 and was in the lead when the red flag stopped the race at Lap 129. Because the weather forecast wasn't promising to get all 200 laps in, Stewart was declared the winner for the second time in the last 3 NSCS races with Busch finishing 2nd, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s #88 Diet Mountain Dew Chevy finished 3rd, Kevin Harvick's #29 Jimmy John's Chevy finished 4th & Carl Edwards' #99 Subway Ford rounded out the Top 5 yesterday in NASCAR's only visit to Fontana this Sprint Cup season.

As for the standings leaving SoCal, Greg Biffle's #16 3M Ford remains in the lead by 7 points over Harvick, Earnhardt is 17 points back in 3rd, Stewart 18 back in 4th & Martin Truex, Jr.'s #56 NAPA Auto Parts TOYOTA is 20 points back in 5th.

Next up, the NSCS makes its first visit to Martinsville, VA for the appropriately-named TUMS Fast Relief 500 Sunday afternoon. Harvick's #29 is the defending winner of the spring race at this short track. Prerace coverage starts at 11:30a Sunday from trackside at the "Hollywood Hotel" on FOX.

The new race is always posted at a certain time and it is way past that certain time. Is the Don ok?
