I wish they were at a good track this week. Kansas is awful imo.

The restarts have been decent but once they all get settled there is little going on.

This track blows. Worse racing than at Chicagoland Speedway.

Aren't Kansas and Chicago basically carbon copies?

I will never understand why they built these boring 1 and a half mile tracks. They could have built anything. Why did they build this crap? Unless they are on a restart these tracks suck.

When those "boring" tracks were built(Chicagoland/Kansas/Las Vegas), the owners/designers didn't know if Indy cars would be more popular than Nascar. So they built tracks with less banking in the turns. Compound that with the "new" car in Nascar, which is so very aero sensitive, you've got single lane racing.

Vegas has been repaved, Kansas will soon follow suit. I believe another factor was the new tracks were trying not to be copies of Charlotte or Atlanta.

Some of the 1.5mile tracks should be reconfigured into a .75 or 1.0 mile track with higher banking.

At least that makes sense as they were trying to get more races there other than just Nascar.
