Holy moly what a race. Dale Jr., Jimmie Johnson, and Brad Keselowski all suffer tire failures and finish the race 40+ laps down. Ouch babe!! Those guys will have to win at Charlotte or Talladega to advance to the third round of the Chase.

Joey Logano wins and can lay back the next two races, I am really enjoying this new format for the Nascar playoffs. Peoria Matt has a 52 point lead on the last transfer spot. The next race is Saturday night from the Charlotte Motor Speedway, expect cool conditions and hot tempers as all the drivers know nothing is to be guaranteed in two weeks at the Geico 500 at Talladega.
