That is such a useless comment. Do you know how many guys have had feuds over the years? And how many championship contenders have ever been taken out of races late in the year? Does anyone think Carl Edwards or Denny Hamlin is going to go after Keselowski next week?

If Kyle Busch or Tony Stewart do that exact same thing people are all pissed off calling for suspensions, etc. Sissy boy should get the same treatment.

You don't think people are going to call for a Gordon suspension?

Craven's take on ESPN was very interesting.

*Dealbreaker Pick ______________________________

Well, the search party for Jeff Gordon's mind is officially underway. Meanwhile, back in the contest... Speeps is only 3 points Back of Dr. Ken with our final race of the season left. RFDC and Hawg Ass are the only other contestants left in title contention 46 and 70 points back respectively. Advantage to Dr. Ken since he can have any non-Chase driver he wants for next week. Speeps has the most dealbreakers left, except for the leader, so he will have any of the best 30 drivers still available to pick. If I am sobered up(enough) from next Saturday's poker game on Sunday, I will do a very special season ending Racecast on the Ustream channel.

I didn't realize Gordon was under the black flag when he did his work on Bowyer. They might both get sat down next week. Jeff for his actions under the black flag and Bowyer partially for his involvement after the race but mostly for his post race comments.

Gordon was not maintaining minimum speed on the track while waiting for the still racing Bowyer to catch up to him. If one or both of those drivers are not suspended for next weeks race, they won't make it past lap 1 to wreck each other out.

Nobody, outside of Bowyer and his mama, thought he was "in contention for the championship" before that happened. We can stop that right now.

Gordon went over the line, no question, but Bowyer wasn't racing like guy that had a chance at the championship. NASCAR was begging for a guy like Gordon to do what he did. Ask Smoke. Ask Keselowski. Ask Rowdy. Gordon should a (hard) hand slap over this.

NASCAR asked for that bullshit on the last lap. They are lucky somebody didn't die/get hurt. Phoenix is one of the narrowest tracks, and there was clearly a "dead" car on the track, and yet they let them run. My guess says they (NASCAR) thought they were doing RCR a favor after the controversy over the GWC that preceded the finish. Problem is, they actually made it harder for everyone involved: Harvick/RCR, Danica and her fellow competitors, and the sport in general.

NASCAR should be embarrassed. Not for what happened regarding Gordon and Bowyer - actually that was the best thing that could have happened for them - but rather for the how the race ended. That was a sham. :(

No suspension for Gordon. A 100K fine, 25 pts off his season total and probation for basically 1 week.

Yeah, he should have been suspended. We will see how many laps he and Bowyer last on the track together. Would no be surprised if they go at it during practice laps.
