Everybody pick a driver each week. Nobody picks the same driver, picking is first come first served. The thread will be posted weekly. By rule, I get to pick Jeff Burton each week if I am so compelled. The newly released off probation and racelog co-host Keeping Score gets to pick Joe Nemechek every week. Tally up the points of the driver yous pick each week and reset the field after the Richmond race. This will be a 26 week play-in to the Chase For The Cup.
This means there will only be 43 spots available in this contest. SO SIGN UP EARLY AND OFTEN(you mults yous).

Then, starting with the first Chase race at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, the Top 12 posters shall be assigned to the driver corresponding in the SPRINT CUP standings. They keep this driver for the duration of the Chase. The chosen 12 will also get to pick a driver out of the Chase to make things more interesting. And rack up the points for the championship.

Confused? Good. Reward? Yes. A prize of undetermined greatness will be given out after the season.

Dealbreaker awards from last year will not be transfered.
1. Players list for driver picking priority for the first five races of the season. Only players who made the Chase last year are guaranteed their position in the lineup. Your second pick will be protected from getting bumped a second time. Unless someone uses a Dealbreaker award on you.
I sent out PM's to all of last year players, new participants will have to go to the bottom of the order.

Yep. you are one of six players to break 100 points after 3 races. Bristol is one of the crazy tracks where a driver can go from 5th to 35th in about a half mile. Don't count your chickens before they roost Dan Hampton.

I never count anything in NASCAR until Front Row Joe is parked, Robby is crashing, and sinicalypse has misplaced his thesaurus.

Last year, he had a Top 5 and a Top 10 at Bristol, TN. In the last 5 years at Bristol, he's actually got 2 Top 5s & 2 Top 10s. With his boss Michael Waltrip watching with "NASCAR on FOX" host Chris Myers in the Hollywood Hotel, I'll "Go Places" with this driver Sunday at the Food City 500:

SHARK's PICK: Food City 500

I trust your discretion sir.

We are trying real hard to manufacture a feud here. It's for the good of the Pick'em and humanity as a whole. :bom:

Huh? I'm trying to promote love and harmony in the Racelog. All participants get a picture this year.

Can we get a separate thread with these, and I don't recall seeing yours. Surely or Shirley, you can get yours accurate.

He loves this guy. I'm actually not slamming sini here... if you read his musical tastes... he will know what this is. A certain Richard D. James...
