Looks like there is much dissension in the NASCAR driver ranks over the new qualifying rules & rightly so. This new system is just fucking ridiculous.

the idea isnt rediculous, just how they judge it. its basically heat laps, they do that in short track racing all the time. but they base the results on position, not lap speed.

lap speed is dumb because if the point is to make qualifying watchable, then just advance drivers based on track position.

either way i dont care. danicas career is over.

Once again the ridiculous new qualifying system results in a huge wreck during Xfinity series qualifying at Daytona. The race is in a few hours and some of these cars wont be able to race.
