He went on the praise Telander for determining that the Pistons were younger than the current Bulls when they won their championship. He thought Telander adding up the ages for the starting 5 of each team and taking the average was brilliant. Unfortunately he failed to recognize that the only reason the Bulls age has higher was because unproductive starter PJ Brown is as old as Methusala. Take the mean age and I think you would find a much different situation and a piece of reporting that is rather uninspired.
