I don't think either one was gay. James Avery was a excellent actor to be sure and I believe that the Fresh Prince is the greatest show to have an all black cast.

For some reason I remember the same thing. Not that it mattered.

But he apparently was married (to a woman). Not that it matters.

For those of you with young children , you may have known him as the voice of Shredder in the current Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles incarnation as well. Which is actually a hoot to watch.

i wouldn't say it's a bad movie. it's possibly over the top and misguided in some ways but it's pretty genuine as an 80's teen flick.

and it's funny as fuck.

Probably not any gayer than anyone else in Hollywood (or Green Bay, fwiw). But I remember tabloid headlines saying RVJ had a sexual relationship w/ Jaleel White. That shit was never worth the paper it was printed on.
