They just played their final game as the Bobcats last night, and will become the Charlotte Hornets starting next season. Let's share our favorite Bobcats moments here.

I'm going to have to go with the Tyrus Thomas trade, and the subsequent mega-contract Jordan gave to him.

My favorite thing is that the owner named the team after himself.

Are they going to celebrate a return to the 'Hornets' moniker with a Bobby Phills bobblehead night?

Too soon. Besides he was a Jordan stopper.

Charlotte Hornets should have hired him to be Jordan's personal driver.

Wasn't he on the radio when he died?

He was also on the steering wheel, the dashboard, the windshield...

I'm hoping they pick a different color scheme. The blue/purple thing is played-out. I think they should go brown/orange a la the Cleveland Browns. #Resurrection2014

They already announced that their colors will be purple, teal, sky blue, silver, and black. The whole reason they're going back to the Hornets name in the first place is to profit from the warm and fuzzies that that team gives people in their thirties and early forties who grew up loving that team and are now the market for season tickets. That means the same name and same colors, even if there are different logos and uniforms.
