Watching WGN news and for some reasn now North pops up on their morning news?

What is with this guys obsession of being on TV? It feels like a rat that I thought I got rid of and keeps pooping up.

The super impose this picture of him with a Cub hat. It is actually a scary picture of a guy and he looks like Ceasar Romero without the makeup at the age of 60!

His voice sounds like a saturday night live bit and once he finally left the air, the hosts say "He is cheap and available."

One of these days, North with "pop" with the viewers and become BIG! The fact that he's not there now is kind of odd, but everyone wants to be there to be the guy who "discovered" him.

When it comes to sports talk guys known by the general populace, you're talking Mike and Chet. Bruce Wolf? Not as much, and certainly not at present. You can well argue that Mac is better, or that you prefer the acumen of a Bernstein, but the point is that the common viewer has heard of neither. And like you joke at the end, "cheap and available." North wants to be there when he "pops," too.

Fox 32, NBC 5, CBS 2, WGN, CLTV......No wonder ABC remains the highest rated...

When North Pops?

The guy has had multiple TV shows, he now been on 5 news channels.

I will go out on the limb and say he is not going to make it.

First, he is an ugly guy! He looks like an evil dude. Bad teeth, bad skin, bad dresser, bad guy.

Second, I do think he is CHEAP. I would even say he does it for free, under the premise of cross promotion for both stations.

Third, imagine if he went to the masses and not just thr Score listeners and tried to spew his views on Asians, Black and Mexicans. He would get boycotted before he got big.

Okay...I don't normally listen to the Mike North Morning Show. I've now seen (heard) him three days in a row on WGN Morning News and I CAN'T STAND this guy. He's so f*cking obnoxious. Someone please tell me how you can listen to this guy every morning?

He's a caricature, so looking pretty might not be as much a requirement as you think.

I tend to agree with you about his not making it, but... eeyii-eee... Maybe.... this time..
