Read it, went to the next Post, then laughed! So are you saying North's ratings will be .75?lol

Might agree with North here, that the ratings could be flawed but only when dealing with such small numbers.

Bet North claims he has a different listening audience and he tries to appeal to a different demo.

Do you think Brandmeier heard 1 Mike North show and said something like "1.5 M for this? I gotta be worth $3M then!"

I listened to Johnny back in his heyday, and enjoyed him. I'm afraid time has passed him by however. This isn't 1990 Brandmeier. This is a guy with some years on him, and those L.A years to boot. I just don't see him recapturing the magic. Like Kevin Matthews and unfortunately Steve Dahl, I think Johnny's time has come and gone. That WLUP lineup of '86-'93 will never be recreated. I wish him well, but he's a long way from Fon Du Lac.

Johnny B is no longer a Fondulac guy or a Chicago guy. He's an LA guy that cant relate to the Chicago audience anymore. He hasnt lived here for 10 years.

F him. He's become a Hollywood fayg.

I hear what you're saying Baby. But give him a chance and give him a listen before you hang him. He fought hard with his bosses to move the whole show back here instead of their original plan to do it via satellite. Although I'm not too crazy about him bringing all those Californians here - what? We don't have a big enough talent pool here? (Dave McBride?)

So far the show is a 1987 time warp experience. Maybe he should host an 80s retro lunchtime show or something. 'Cuz his shtick seems played out. I have to admit, though, I wouldn't mind going to a Johnny and the Leisure Suits show at Alpine Valley.
