Again.
Well, sort of.

The guy from Alkaline Trio is replacing Tom DeLonge. If you have any interest in the band at all, this is an interesting interview that was just done with Mark and Travis:

I didn't even think they were still together. DeLonge has been a fucking weirdo for over a decade. They had a very simple formula that worked for 2 albums. Everything they have done in the last decade has been horrible. Why in the ever loving hell would Skiba involve himself in that band. Just about anyone with 1 week of guitar lessons could play Tom's parts....and I can't imagine what he would sound like singing his parts either. They should let the guy they kicked out of the band right before they became popular back in the band.

I try to avoid most connections with you, isn't that obvious?

This board's zings were certainly better two years ago.

I take issue with people who say that Travis survived a firey plane crash.

It doesn't count as a plane crash if the plane never left the ground. Its a motor vehicle crash involving a plane.

saying you were in a plane crash evokes an image of surviving a plane falling out of the sky which is damn impressive. Giving a guy plane crash survivor street cred for surviving a plane driving off a runway into a ditch is so wrong.

If a motor vehicle crashes, and during that process goes airborne, is it a plane crash?

It all comes down to altitude. If you go airborn over the median and travel 100 feet, not a plane crash. But, if you go off the side of Marina Towers and plummet 15 stories into the Chicago River and somehow survive, go ahead and call yourself a plane crash survivor.

knowing this board you'd be greeted with a DID NOT HAPPEN quicker than i could tell you about freestyle/cipher rapping in front of 4 chicago cops at gunpoint.

This is kind of funny...I can't help but enjoy their 2 popular albums, but I'm not losing any sleep over their absence. All 3 of them come off from this like whiny drama queens.
