Apparently Mike North sent JB a bottle of Dom Perignon, JB called it a "class act" and was generally complimentary of North, he also discussed Chet Coppack and Coppack's letter to Feder, funny stuff.

I give my credit for not really getting involved in nerdy radio wars with competitors. He seems to befriend people from stations throughout the city. I have a feeling Mike spends little time listening to sports radio and is genuinely a fan of the hosts he has befriended.

I saw this thread title and was about to write "who you crappin" but he didnt call north a class act only this specific action classy

Right, the french giving us The Statue of Liberty was classy. But the French are anything but a class act.

Any publicity is good publicity for buttwipes like North. More listeners heard that today than listen to his rotten, failure of a show.

IMO- it was like bowing to the king once he returned.

I am sure Mike talked about it on the air and put some spin on it, why it was good and how he welcomes the competition, blah blah but I wouldn't know.
