Hey did anyone catch this morning when North and Zaidman were going at it? Well it was North more than anything. He told ZZ,

"Hey don't come on my show and tell me to hold on! This is my house! I'm tired of you coming on my show telling me what do to!"

I've never seen anyone so arrogant (even more than Dan Bernstein), especially to a colleague on air. North sunk to a new low today, in my opinion. Zach didn't even want to talk anymore after that. I wonder if an apology is in the works. Now there was talk that they wanted to suspend Murph for his on air arguments with Mulligan. This was worse. I wonder if the golden boy is going to get any reprimands for this. Probably not.

Probably pouting about his "flawed" ratings.

Hey Mike, the house belongs to both of you. Zac is an employee of the Score just like you. Part of his job is to report on Score shows. That portion of the show is just as much his as it is yours you idiot. When a guy comes across as a tough guy with such lousy ratings he really looks like an idiot.

Just for the sake of argument....lets assume the ratings are flawed. Even if you had twice as many listeners as what arbitron says.....that would still be a pathetic number. Especially for the amount of money you get paid.

The redhead so richly deserves to be treated that way... just because.

North was being an asshole to Zaidman, and all ZZ did was to tell Mike to take a deep breath and stop putting words in his mouth. Great way to treat your co-workers, Mike. But I guess when you're no one's "equal" on that station, you can treat anyone like shit and get away with it, eh?

I heard it. It was uncomfortable and I went up the dial. North was disagreeing with Zee, but the main problem only seemed to be that Zee wasn't letting North interrupt and filibuster the whole segment.

It seems to me that as long as the Score actually places a reporter with the Bears, it would be nice to hear his report, as opposed to North's opinions. I hope that when management sorts this out, they tell North something along those lines.

North refers to an earlier incident too. I happened to hear that also. It was a similar thing. Zee said something mild like, "Hold on a second. Mike". North responded with a flash of anger like, "Don't tell me what to do on this show".

Now we know how Huebner became Mr. Smithers and why Maxfield just sits there crying.

Notice how North called Zaidman, "Buddy" two times
after he reamed him, in that syrupy sweet phony voice.
I couldn't believe how uncomfortable Zach sounded.

if north would shut up and let zz finish, maybe zz wouldnt have to tell him to take a deep breath. North is also trying to become the "spin master" oh and he sux at ranting!!

When I did listen the whole segment was annoying.

Zach would report something, North would say it's Stupid that the Bears did this, or that. (Kinda like he used to do with the Sox before the Score sold it's soul)

Maybe Annie can do the Bears reports too?

It'll be interesting to see if zz does the bears report tmmrw morning, when is it usually btw? Its the first time ill tune into north all week

Let's just call the Zack and the Crack incident "November" sweeps.(tsk,tsk North) if someone could chime in and tell me if the ratings apply like they do in tv. Talk about having a completely unnecessary one sided argument about nothing. It leads me to believe that there is something else going on. Maybe North thinks Zack is to much of a homer or something? ( I disagree) does anyone know of any other powderkeg issue from the past with these two?

KS, it is Scary that you have cataloged somewhere everything Martin ever wrote and that you use it as a point of reference.

Now I didn't hear the episode, but I have heard Zach talk and when he says "HOLD ON", he doesn't mean to wait and do nothing, he means he would also like to make a point. Some people use the term that way and for North to go off on the guy foir using the term rerally just shows what an ass he has become.

It's just too bad someone can't check Mike, it would be best for him and the station.
