That's true but Dee Brown isn't a top ten pick. I'm not even sure if he is a first round pick. My point is the talent level Morrison is playing against isn't that tough. He is a good player but I think even a Van Horn comparison is a stretch right now.
Dee Brown is a very good college player, the classic shooting guard in a point guard's body.
Provided he keeps playing how he's been playing, he'll get drafted by somebody, I'm guessing towards the bottom of Round 1 - he does have a lot of speed/athleticism, which should give him at least a shot of coming off a NBA bench.
No doubt that Morrison's opponents tend to be weak.
Let me ask you though - does playing with 4 other highly recrutied players, like Reddick at Duke, make his job easier ?
Also, I'd have to think about this, but I'm sure there's a pretty good list of great college players drafted from big schools who turned out to stink (like Stacey King), and players from smaller schools (John Stockton) who turned out to have good NBA careers despite their competition.
