Several years ago Gary Meier turned down a 10 million dollar 10 year contract from WLS to stay with Roe Conn. That was what...4 or 5 years ago? WLS told him to take a walk. Aside from a short 3 month stint on an FM station, I don't think he has worked since. Unlike North, Roe Conn & Gary Meier's rating were at the top of the Chicago Arbitron Chart. Can you imagine turning down 10 million dollars and then you can't even get another full time radio gig? The SCORE offers Mike North 800,000 a year. This is generous considering his ratings. I heard trying to spin his bad rating numbers on the air in May with station management. Face it Mike, more and more listeners were tuning you out. $800,000 a year jobs don't come along very often. Maybe he will get lucky like Greenberg did, but...that's quite a gamble you are taking
