It isn't about religion. Guys Tariq Nasheed and Kanye were given platforms because of the sacrifice of people like Lewis, Tubman and the millions who "chose" to be slaves. Instead of being thankful for their sacrifice, they choose to say ignorant shit. Neither man have used their platforms to do anything as significant as the people they mock/dismiss and never will.

Their differences weren't about religion. If it played a role it was a rather minute one. There were deep philosophical differences between Malcolm X and Martin Luther King.

Malcolm X was a proponent of black separatism. Martin Luther King was in favor of integration and inclusion. At the core of their differences lay that.

Kanye is putting out Christian rap albums now and praising Trump for being the first president in his lifetime to bring God back to the White House. I doubt his beef with Tubman or slaves has anything to do with religion. Tariq Nasheed is a guy who won't bust a grape in a fruit fight or throw rice at a wedding, but he believes that every leader before him should have grabbed their rifle or pistol and killed a bunch on white people.
