Seems to me that the once-great band, Chicago, is only hurting their image by remaking & rewording one of their classic hits for a local cable TV show. The following comes from Bill Zwecker's column in today's Chicago Sun-Times:

MUSIC MEN: Thanks to Mike North's friendship with manager Peter Schivarelli and the members of the rock group Chicago, the band has recorded new lyrics for its "Old Days" classic -- creating a "Monsters in the Morning" theme song for the new show North and Dan Jiggetts will launch Jan. 12 on Comcast SportsNet. "As a Chicago native and fan of those guys since I was in high school dancing to 'Color My World,' I am totally blown away by this," North says.
