Hate to say it but I think its a wrap for the once vaunted Public League when it comes to hoops. Most of the action seems to be in the suburbs and Catholic League these days.

Might be but the word I got was that he and the new principal really didn't mesh all that well. When House was in he had a little more autonomy to do what he wanted to do. I don't think the new principal is into sports all that much. When the board removed House the game changed for him.

And he hadn't been getting the type of talent that he was used to getting out of elementary school either. Last year's team had 5 transfers out of its top 6 players. That really wasn't Simeon like at all.

Yeah he has done a solid job at Depaul since he has been there. He also is being fed heavily by the Illinois Wolves AAU program too. He has been a part of that program for awhile now. They are one of the top AAU programs in the state.
