Maybe CBS, the day before North goes on the air, sues him for breaking the non compete with his Web show. He did brag about making money? thats competition

In case you missed it. The noncompete is a myth. I believe someone explained that there is an IL legislation specifically disallowing such noncompete clauses for broadcasters. Pappy got fed bad information by his crew and spewed it to anyone who wanted to listen.

The non-compete clause in Illinois is now illegal and has been since 2002. When I left the Score in 2001, the GM refused to waive the non-compete for me and I had to wait until April 2002. Several times,Governor George Ryan vetoed bills that outlawed non compete clauses,because Ryan hated the media so much. Once he was out of Office, that law also went away.

Les, as stated before, I sincerely hope you come back to the Score one of these days...

Thanks for that, but it's Management who would have to also have that oppinion. Then I would have to WANT to go back. But I have always said I'd listen to anything almost anyone had to say if it came up. Right now it's not.
I can't say how much(if at all)they hear from people hoping for something like that to happen.
