I remember that slightly more than the Phillies years and I have to constantly convince myself the Expos year wasn't a fever dream.

If I go can I do a head-first slide into the casket and try to knock it over?

Charlie fucking Hustle. He was reinstated to the fucking game, after he died.

The fuckin game the other night was sold out and everybody was honoring his statue and shit outside the ballpark.

Hard to believe NOBODY mentioned this considerin' they were playin' the Sox.

The best thing that ever happened to this bum was getting banned. Has there ever been a more overrated player in any sport? Many people actually think he was the greatest hitter ever. In reality he wasn't much different than Matty Alou.

Many people say he was the best ever. You can find arguments about it online all the time.

The fact that he is an "Honorable Mention" is absurd. Ryan was a special guy. He did things no one else did. He was the hardest to hit. But a great pitcher? No. Just a very good one. I couldn't really say he was a better pitcher than Mark Buehrle or Jon Lester.

The three Alou brothers (Matty, Felipe, Jesus) all very good hitters combined only had 838 more hits than Pete Rose.
