Between 7 and 7:30, they were talking about the Cubs coaching staff and the lack of changes made.
North spoke about the switching of Sarge Matthews and Gene Clines as batting coach and first base coach.
Did North actually have the audacity to say, "Baker couldn't get rid of his bro?"
How racist is that?

I wonder if Pappy even remembers that Gary Mathews was the batting coach 2 years ago.

North doesn't know/remember that Matthews was a hitting coach already, but I don't think his comment was racist.
