Did I hear this correctly? At around 6:14-15 this morning while talking to a caller North said "Sosa is in hiding and should be SHOT for that." Regardless of your feelings on Sammy Sosa how can someone say he should be shot? What amazed me more though was the fact that nobody said anything about it, his sidekicks didn't seem to be phased one bit by his statement. How can this guy and his glaring lack of talent, tact and common sense continue to be placed behind a microphone at the listners expense? It just baffles me, I guess it's right up there with the "how many licks does it take to get the center of a tootsie roll pop" question.[/b]

I was taken aback by this as well. I know he really does not mean it but was just overstating the thought that Sammy should be embarassed about going into hiding. Still, that is a very big overstatement.

What is Sosa supposed to do? He can't play anymore, should he be out giving interviews? become a talking head on ESPN? Who cares.
