Sorry to disappoint you, but he claims his liver is in fine shape. How do I know this? He called himself an idiot several times for doing something stupid, and he said he would not do that anymore. Obvioulsy, it's too little too late becuase something bad could have happened, but his comments were clearly remorseful. We'll see what his actions are going forward, but I think your North hatred gets in the way of being objective.

I loved the way Greenstein wrote his column about the North/Dempster deal. He opened and closed the article by making North look like a fool. He started off by bringing up two classless things North did, talked about the trivial incident with Dempster, and closed by talking about North's low ratings and how he thinks the Arbitron ratings are flawed.

Does this warrant some sort of suspension?

Think about it - an on air host calls another show, drunk out of his mind and is driving; luckily, he doesn't hurt anyone while driving drunk ( an illegal act) and talking on a phone ( if their is no ear piece, another illegal act if he was in the city) He then talks about it on the air - and encourages other shows to play the tape.

And given that the suspension would help North get more press and maybe more ratings, it seems like something that Mitch could sell...

Just heard on Murph one of you guys call I think.

Murph cut the guy off when he was gonna give North tool of the week.

While Pappy did a half hearted apology at 6:20 this morning he later when on to joke about it and have a laugh with "da two mics" during transition. Mitch will get the information on all of this and do nothing.
