I'm a graduate of Von Steuben High School, but I'm very familiar with head coach Robert Hambric and his Simeon Wolverwines always facing head coach Landon "Sonny" Cox and the King Jaguars year after year playing for not just the Public League Basketball title, but the IHSA Class "AA" Championship back in the day. As someone who followed high school sports growing up, Coach Hambric will always be remembered for putting some really good players on the court, but coaching some of the most successful high school basketball teams in the city & state.

I saw this the other day and realized he was as good or not better than Sonny Cox but because of his flashy nature, everyone thinks of Cox as the best public league coach ever.
