We all know that The Idiot can't read this, so please be candid with me. People at the Score are laughing about this "Hall of Fame" induction behind The Idiot's back, right?

Yours Truly, Stone Roses.

I'm quite certain that you are correct that Rock doesn't care about me. I don't know the man.

Are you allowed to listen to The Idiot's show while you are stocking the racks at T.J. Maxx? Does his sophisticated wit momentarily transport you away from the miserable existence you lead? Do you enjoy the innovative Real Estate game while you lounge around your parent's house, and allow you to disregard their pleas for you to "please move out?" Does the hilarious Bookie Priest prevent you from dwelling on the fact that you are a bulbous headed, hideously unattractive moron with zero hope of ever finding a woman?

I'm not saying. I'm just saying.

To be honest....I don't think anyone knew about a Chicagoland Sports HOF, but as for people laughing about it, I would probably say nah. Mike has made an impact (like him or not) on the sports radio format in chicago radio. Whether or not that merits induction into a HOF or not is up to the powers that make that decision. But, ever since I started interning at the station all I ever heard was good about Mike back in the day. He's the #1 talent at the station and has stayed there since the beginning, so in a business that is as cut-throat as radio is, that says something.

Now the question is.....who follows Mike into the HOF? That's a question I ponder w/some of the people around the station, got alot of interesting answers.

Hope that's candid enough for ya....but the dinner was alright, the chicken was really good, but it was a cash bar.....that sucked.

-Rock

Hey Rock, I don't know what you're smoking, but send some out my way.

Think about it. North and Jiggs weren't the top talent on the old 820/1160. The top talent was on afternoon drive, the HFC. You don't put your number one talent on middays. After North forced the program shift to go solo, what happened? He couldn't hold a solo gig in the afternoons, they teamed him with Buffone and that bombed. That wouldn't qualify him as the number one talent.

They shift him to mornings - and that POS Murphy's outdrawing him by a mile. He's not your number one talent - wasn't, and never has been. How he was signed to this contract is beyond my comprehension. How he earned/bought induction into this POS Hall of Fame is beyond me.

And yet when it's time to move to other media, who do they use? Pappy. If not their best talent, then their best personality. Except, it is a characture (sp).

Our "buddy" is sort of a tweener -- a little bit more than needing a partner; not having enough by himself to carry a show. Someone who appears interesting enough to try in other venues, but not enough to carry those, either.

As for Murph, I know you don't like him, but we can infer that he has enough talent and/or skill and/or discipline in his on-air personality to draw better than Pappy in equivalent shifts. B&B I think get better ratings in the afternoon than Pappy, too.

I don't like the man, don't like his show, and can't believe he has an audience outside of a geriatric facility. That being said, I'll give him credit - he has the numbers, something North has never had.

I don't smoke pot. Marijuana and alcohol kill brain cells. Assuming extremely heavy usage, this would lower me to your intellectual level in about 25 years.

The whole cast of Telander's afternoon show along with the entire archive of tapes from the show.

Are you sure, Stones? Say it ain't so.

Your selective quotation makes it sound as if I said "alcohol kill brain cells." Let the record reflect that "kill" was in reference to two nouns in the plural (alcohol and marijuana), not one.

Lest anyone mistake me for Ike South.

Dear Panther:

I was simply attempting to insult Ike South. It is of no concern to me how you spend your free time.

I hope you feel better.
