God I laughed hard at this. Then I realized this guy Nas might be serious. I hope not.

Mitch should do that to cut Pappy's ego down more and make him realize Drinky is an equal

An equal to what? A steaming pile of maggot infested crap? A talentless big-mouthed know-it-all who thinks they know the recipe to getting anything more than a 1.0 AQH rating?

Matt is a bad fit for the North show for many reasons - but the only one that matters is that he just doesn't have the personality to be a major morning show personality. He isn't funny, he isn't ENTERTAINING, and the only thing he has going for himself is that he has a definite sports opinion, and is semi well spoken.

He reminds me of J Hood - he is a really good producer, who has decent pipes and is a big sports fan. But that is it - he can't fill you in on his past experiences, he's never really been in a professional locker room, there is no gravitas whatsoever.

Mike North's ego, by the way, has nothing to do with his cartoon character on the air, it is that he has grifted CBS Radio into thinking he is the face of the Score.

Matty is a producer with a very good personality, thus he runs a good show, a wildcard, funny, stupid, loudmouth comnments with him makes for a good show.

It's a real simple recipe. It's worked for years in chicago, one straight guy, one funn guy. Steve and Garry, Johnny and Buzz, Kev and Jimmy! Jiggs and North, Even Boers and Mac...they get along they have some things in common but they have their own thoughts and unique spins on things.

Notice Noth's week how he tried to make Matty look bad in his "debates" but always making a final smart ass comment and going to break??

Damn Factotum, your tape closet must be pretty messy. Where do you keep all that footage stored?

Top Ten Things that will improve the morning show:

10) Cut the commercials. I know you have to pay the bills, but maybe if you didn't give a raise to the traffic girl, you could afford to cut 30sec of them. If you can't do that then please bring back the strip club ads!

9) Talk about SPORTS! Movie reviews, Iraq, Paris Hilton, G.Bush exc. should not be coming out of your mouths, unless you're broadcasting in a movie theatre in Iraq with Paris Hilton giving you a lap dance with G.Bush doing an end zone celebration dance.

8 ) Bring

7) Back

6) Mike

5) Murphy!

4) full

3) time!

2) ok so that was only 3 things

Here is one more to make you all happy.

1) Start taking "the juiice" and work 12hr shifts, I hate sportingnews radio!

I'm a long time Cub fan who had to endure a year of "home of your world champion whitesox!" WSUX I can't take it anymore. Murph is the only real cub fan left. Sure you have your "I root for both teams", but those guys are not fans that you can connect with. They don't feel our pain of the last 90+ years.

Yes, I want Murph back. I need someone who has suffered longer then I have (32yrs) to make me feel better.

Fire Dusty, Henry and McFAIL talk always pumps me up. I would go lynching (no pun intended) if Murph would organize one.

"Say it like you mean it - Andy McPhail - that's F - A - I - L
Hey, let me get my what-if bell (ding-ding-ding), what if I call John Dewan? Score Celebrity Phone ringing and it's none other than John Dewan. So John, burning question for all us Cubs fans - let's go back to the glory days of 1987. Frank Lucchesi managing, Herm Starette - good ole number 3 as a coach. Herm Starette - a big sunflower seed chewer there in the dugout. When Mike Mason, number 41, was on the hill, having a horrible season, I think Starette's sunflower seed chewing distracted him. Do you have a breakdown on Mike Mason's statistics with Starette chewing sunflower seeds as compared to when he wasn't?"

John Dewan: "Actually, Murph, we did this analysis and it is incredible. I think you're really on to something. Mike Mason appeared in 17 games with the Cubs..."

Murph: "After coming over from the Rangers..."

Dewan: "And he went 4 and 1. His ERA with the Cubs was 5.68, in 38 innings pitched. When we ran our analysis, we found that in 13 games where Herm Starette was chewing sunflower seeds, Mike Mason went 0 and 1, and his ERA was 8.51. He gave up four home runs, twenty walks, and threw one wild pitch. He only had three strikeouts in these games. In games where Herm Starette wasn't chewing sunflower seeds, he had 25 strikeouts, only gave up three walks, no homeruns, and had an ERA under three."

Murph: "So John, what you're saying here, is that Mike Mason's pitching was negatively impacted by a coach chewing sunflower seeds?"

Dewan: "Oh, absolutely Murph."
