To a chorus of "yes", "yeah", "right", "sure", and various grunts that seem to signal agreement from Fred and Annie, North runs through about 20 opinions in the first 5 minutes this morning.

All just normal for this weird show, but then Annie makes it interesting.

North says, "There's one thing I have to agree with Mullie on....".

Annie interrupts with, "Yeah".

I guess she reads minds. AND agrees with them. Is the word "sychophant"? I'm not sure. We used to say "brown-nose". It comes from kissing ass.

Yeah, yes, yessum, OK, sounds good, you are right.

My favirote is the Bears monday spot, where Mike is talking about "not comparing Lovie to Ditka and Rex isn't on the way to Canton" and at the last sacond you hear Fred say "yep", pretty much sums up the show in 8 seconds.

How can you guys still listen? It is nowhere near "bad" fun. I divorced myself from this abortion the day King Nothing reinstated Annie. Since then, I've dropped 10 points off my blood pressure, reduced my massive alcohol intake, and ceased vomiting blood. Try it ya'll (TM Rock) you'll like it.

Of course North sucks...but morning talk radio is pretty slim pickings in Chicago these days. I'll listen to Mike&Mike until they inevitably start talking about crap I don't care about (the NBA, the NY Jets, etc). You can only listen to WBBM for so long before it just starts to repeat itself. Mancow's gone, apparently for good. So what does that leave? The screechy gay guy on 103.5fm? The old white guys pretending to be young black guys on 96.3? Those unfunny assclowns on 105.9?

That's hilarious that Eddie and Jo Bo are still around. They were popular when I was a teenager. I've met Erica before - married to a friend of a friend. She's pretty down to earth, originally from the SW burbs. She just signed a pretty good deal with them I believe.
