Towards the end of the Mike North Morning Variety Hour, I was listening , yes I was listening. (Forgive me...but usually when I arrive in the office I turn on the score or really just the radio)

And Mike started talking about Doug Buffone and how Doug might feel underappreciated. I called in and really wanted to ad what happened during the Louisville game on ESPN the night before. Would be my first call to North in over 5 years.

Last night during the Louisville game, Tom Jackson was at the game, so they zoomed in on his retired Jersey hanging from the upper level and the announcer mentions The Jersey is hanging next to Chris Redmans and no love or any mention for my man Dougie Buffone, who was to the right of Jackson's jersey and clearly visible, good ole #56 while at Louisville.

So I call in to try and get on the air and I assume it was Cassidy who "Didn't understand" and said they are going to another segment. IT WAS THE LAST 4 MINS OF THE SHOW I said, there is no other segment.

Now, maybe if he hired a kid who knows and loved sports, better calls might even get through?

I have been saying hire a good looking girl for years and he finally does and from what I have heard he has made no mention of her looks? Sure I could have missed it during my 15 mins, but I am guessing he does not want to promote her too much as she is HOT and would take away from his pet projects of Anne and Jen.
