So North goes off the deep end when Fred plays Thomas Jones saying that if you have not played the game, you really dont know what it is like. I agree with Jones, I played High School and some college ball and I can say that there has to be things that I couldnt even begin to understand in the NFL game. But Mike cant let it go, here are a few of his gems from Jones qoute.

1. Mike said "Well, I have played". Played what? Flag football? I almost think this guy has become such a icon in his own mind that it is possible that he thinks he actually could have been a pro athlete.

2. Bought up how he understand how the NFL game works. Huh? The moron doesnt even watch the whole game any longer, plus isnt Mr. NFL who said, "Jim Harbaugh is better then Troy Aikman.

3. His old stand by, said that there are guys he plays softball with that could have and should have been in the majors. Ok, sure Mike. "the bes athletes I ever saw were out on the softball field" North said.

This guy has become so bad, that I have to tune in to just listen how bad it really is. Mike shows his unwillingness to acknowledge that there are just things he doesnt know about, maybe if thedumbass wouldhave completed higg school and went to college, he would be able to understand that. Speaking of that, what does it say about Norths parents that they would allow their child to drop out of high school? If my daughter even joked about it, I would be walking her to each of her classes on a daily basis. Oh well, I just dont get it I guess.

Of course, Lick ass Fred and out of place Annie agreed with all of Mikes points.

I'm going to defend Mike, and say Thomas Jones' comment were stupid, and an insult to the fans.

I don't think there's much more to say than that.

I disagree, I dont think the fans understand certain things when it comes to prefessional ball and since we dont play, I agree with Jones, there are just things fans should shut up about.

Vince Young scored single digits on the Wonderlic test. He is able to start and have some success as a rookie. This is not as complicated as everyone would like you to believe.

Football is a sport taught by gym teachers to students with high school intelligence levels.

That's my point - I understand that there is more to an intereception that the interception itself - what angle did the WR take ? Was there a miscommunication ? Did the DB jump the route, etc, etc, and 90% of the time, the QB gets blamed for the INT. I have no doubt that a football player has 100x the knowlege of a typical fan.

What North said, and I agree with, is that I may not know how every action caused the INT, I do know that Grossman's play in the past month has been very bad.

Jones questioned the intelligence of anyone who's not a football player who dared question Rex Grossman.

I would love to hear his reaction to a football person causing for Griese - I'm sure he'd say he's not around the team, or something like that, but it would be interesting to hear an opinion that Jones couldn't discard.

Who you crappin Nas? The Score came on the air in 92. The Cowboys won a Superbowl the 92 season, 93 season, and the 95 season. Aikman was already good. Norths arguement was that Harbaugh could have done the same or better with Aikmans weapons. I contend Aikman could have done what Moreno did if he threw the ball on every down.

To change the subject just slightly...

I was thinking about this topic yesterday as Lawrence Don't Call Me Larry Holmes and Dr. Dan B broke down the Bears as if they were two long time scouts.

I was, like, how much do these guys really know about football. Really. They're trained as broadcasters, voices, media, not sports. Neither played football on the college (at least Teelander did that) or pro level.

Pretty much all of the actual football experts, from Sayers, to Fencik to whoever have been run off the Score.

(Which is why, of course, we need more OB Damit)
