"I was told by two different people that Teddy Greenstein cried when he didn't get the Big Ten Network job....cried!!!"

A grown man crying? What a disrespect to the male species.

Is that part of the Mafia code, Mike? "Grown men don't cry"?

I can't wait till this guy is gone.

And he also mentioned how Teddy did him a favor by publishing his contract offer, because "it helped me out with the 6 other stations I'm talking to."

Whatever.

I cry every year, but that has to do with being a cub fan;).

If Mike outed some personal info about Teddy, wouldnt that make North a rat?

The more amusing part of this was Mike's suggestion that this is a plot by Northwestern alumni club to destroy him.

Yeah, I hear the topic at the last meeting of the NU Alumni Association was how to bring down the all-powerful Mike North.

Wow, had to turn him on and one thing came to my mind. He said on Friday he wasnt going to spend a lot of time on the TG article, but yet, he cant go ten minutes without bringing it up.

North is just proving many peoples point about him, he is a thin skinned, shallow minded person.

I also heard Fred let Pappy know that Snoop Dog also thinks education is also overrated.

He's got a lot of pressure on him, in these final days. But still, who knew that Teddy was going to be his rented mule?!?

I'm chuckling; I hope Teddy's being amused by this, too...

6 stations talking to him? What a joke. It's more likely that 6 stations were laughing at him!!

I'm sure 6 stations called him, most stations could use an extra person for the street team or overnight board-op.

I think this was a tongue-in-cheek remark by North. He was doing a bit throughout the show where he would site unnamed sources for stories regarding Teddy G.

Yeah because he also said that he heard from unnamed sources that Teddy G wears pink thongs and he wanted to call him to confirm but he felt that Teddy G wouldn't tell the truth.

And i'm sure that North didnt shed any tears when his dog died

I was half tempted to call in the AM and ask Webby if Pappy realized how much like a 6 year old he sounded. Then I figured it wasn't worth the effort.

Ok, Mike says he is talking with six stations.

WGN - No possible way.

ESPN1000- No, Pappy said he would never work for them.

WLS - I just dont see it.

If Mike actually thinks that the Zimmermanns and Rosens are buying his BS, he is dumber then I thought.

Those are the only stations with money. Nobody else could offer him much. Of course he's bullshitting us. There aren't 6 stations. The Score knows that. Take the offer off the table Mitch. Watch Pappy beg for it to come back.

He doesn't beat ANY station that anyone has heard of.

My guess is that those 6 offers are to do weekends or very late night programming for about $60K a year.

you forgot

101.9--he will take over for eric and kathy

B96--move over eddie and jobo

am780--f felica middlbrooks, mikey can read

93.9--connie francis is lite music right ?

95.5--connie francis is lite jazz right?

US99--connie francis is country and western right?

i'm sure any of these stations would kill to have a talent such as mike north in their primetime morning drive slot and pay him 7 figures.

Don't forget WGCI 107.5 - I'm sure "hug a black day" and phrases like "Barack Obama gets his smarts from his white side" (allegedly) will do well on that station.....

Maybe the Northwestern alums are conspiring to have Mike terminated at the Score so they can funnel him over to the NU station for the summer. Once spring quarter ends, WNUR will have a ton of shifts to fill....

I don't listen to WLS at all, but is it so hard to see North there?

Not even sure what is going on at 105.9 or 104.3 after Dahl? or 560?

Sirius Mike North?

WLS tries to appeal to an audience with IQ's over 6, that rules out Mike.
I'll bet all 6 stations exist only in his imagination. Hell, even WKRP's imaginary shows were more entertaining than the Mike North Morning Shitfest.

Just a simple question -why would any station that already kicks his ass in the ratings want to hire him?

You think Teddy's listening right now?... 8)

You've never heard Pappy speak Spanish. Don't forget about those stations.
